Point and Sesame's Access Manager installed on OEM supplied firewall /

support?
A SesameSpot supports both the 802.11b (11Mbps) and the 802.11g (54Mbps)
industry standards at 2.4GHz.
How is wireless Internet different from
the typical Internet?
Wireless Internet uses the electromagnetic spectrum, or radio waves, to
connect the last yard(s) / meter(s) with your wireless enabled device.
What is the wireless range of a SesameSpot?
This depends on the Wireless Access Point (WAP) that is being
used. The standard WAP that can be purchased through Sesame Networks has
a range of about 100 meters indoor (400 meters outdoor), however, walls,
steel framers and objects in the room has an impact of radio signal. The
SAM is vendor agnostic and therefore compatible with any standard WAP.
