FAQs for Users Accessing a SesameSpot
How do I access a SesameSpot?
All you need is a Wi-Fi enabled notebook and a mobile phone with SMS capabilities.

be called "sesame".

How do I sign up?
Open a browser and attempt to connect to a Web site. Your query will be
caught by the Sesame Access Manager, and you will see a page in the browser
where you can fill in your mobile phone number and a password. If you
leave the password field blank when you submit the page, a short SMS message
will be sent to your mobile phone with a password that can be used.

at another SesameSpot?

A password expires if it has not been used in 30 days.
How much will it cost?
Internet Access is paid for by the SesameSpot enterprise host. Some mobile
service providers may levy a nominal charge for SMS messages.

within the previous month.

the network?

infection attempts by viruses and worms from the Internet. We recommend
that you enable your anti-virus softwareat all times, since viruses can
be downloaded via email and from connections to other Web sites.

on users?
Sesame Networks keeps track of cell phone numbers and passwords in a secure
location. We have the ability to match traffic patterns against those
cell phone numbers, so we can find abusers of the system (e.g. spammers).
If I do not have my cell phone (or it
is not working) can I still get online?
Yes. If you have already been given a password within the last
30 days and know your cell phone # you can still access the mobile broadband
network. If not, you can request a password right now by clicking
here.
Can I change my password?
Yes. Our online
portal allows you to change our password. Note that after
30 days of not logging into a SesameSpot, your password will expire.
