Common Configurations and Equipment | Mobile Broadband Office

The Mobile Broadband Office Solution easily integrates with leading equipment manufactures and can be assimilated into many network topologies and architectures. Below are three configuration examples of how Sesame Networks provides secure access for broadband office services. Our partners are experienced in implementing small to large scale installations and can design the configuration that meets your business needs.

Branch Office Configuration
The branch office configuration is typically used in smaller deployments where an Internet connection may not yet be available and if at all, a small corporate LAN exists. In this scenario, a SAM UltraLite, one AP, and a DSL Internet connection are used to provide the Mobile Broadband Office services. The SAM functions as a gateway router and firewall for the Mobile Broadband Office users.

Enterprise Configuration

The enterprise configuration is designed for a more complex network involving both a Wi-Fi connection to mobile office features for allied professionals and a separate corporate LAN for employees. It is very common for the Sesame Access Manager in a corporate LAN environment to be placed in the DMZ for an added measure of security.

Campus Configuration
The campus configuration is our most robust solution, handling over 150 concurrent users at any given time. The Sesame Access Manager can be used to funnel traffic from multiple branch offices in a spoke and hub configuration or can be used stand alone in an environment where many mobile users are expected.
