Sesame Networks is a solutions company focused on providing enterprise customers with mobile workforce enablement solutions over broadband Wi-Fi using the unique intellectual property of our identity management platform.

Sesame solutions are tailored to meet the needs of mobile employees to easily access the Internet as well as enterprise voice, video and data applications through any Wi-Fi connection. This enhances the communication functionality available to company employees and saves costs. As well, it enables remote or partner employees and allied professionals to access appropriate Internet and enterprise applications in an easy and economic manner.

A crucial component in providing this solution is Sesame’s identity management technology, which allows simple and trusted authentication of the end user and the ability to real-time compute service policy associated with the user’s identity. This supports the delivery to the end user of enterprise functionality such as access to company resources and real-time Voice over WLAN (VoWLAN) communication, without compromising the security and integrity of the corporate LAN or impacting IT resources.

During the early development and testing of its identity management process, Sesame Networks was pleased to receive a matching funds grant from CANARIE's E-business Program.
